Tungsten Metals Group believes that strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) credentials enhance the company’s business model, reduces risk, and has a positive impact on the bottom line. As a global stakeholder in the tungsten market, we believe that operating in a fair, ethical way and making protection of the environment a priority, brings value to investors, customers, suppliers, and our people.
ENVIRONMENTAL
We are committed to moving towards cleantech, curbing pollution, and reducing our carbon footprint. We comply with local environmental regulations and regularly review our policies and procedures across the business model to demonstrate a commitment to preserving, even healing, the environment.
SOCIAL
We are committed to demonstrating best practices and policies covering diversity and inclusion, human rights, privacy, working conditions, health and safety and fair labour practices in its operations in Vietnam and in its corporate office in Australia. We engage and are supportive of the local community in Vĩnh Bảo and show employees how we value their engagement with Tungsten Metals Group in a variety of ways including fair and safe working conditions, employee benefits and social facilities.
GOVERNANCE
We believe in corporate governance that begins at the top with a culture of ethical decision-making, compliance with laws and regulations and operation in alignment with its values. As a small company, Board and Executive work collaboratively to ensure policies and procedures are effective and controls support a robust business model.
Whilst larger listed entities may have Board Committees such as Finance and Audit; Risk: People & Culture which we may develop over time, we currently address these matters within the Board and Executive to demonstrate a collaborative approach to operating in an ethical manner.
